FRUIT SONG No. 2
A special impromptu performance by Chan as she walks along her site-specific installation “Fruit Song No. 2”.
Fruit Song No. 2 was commissioned for the 8th Yokohama Triennale “Wild Grass: Our Lives”in March 2024. Presented inside the Motomachi-Chūkagai Station Accessway, Fruit Song No. 2 was a site-specific work, spanning 50 metres across seven vinyl decal panels. Audiences could listen to Chan's accompanying soundscape through a QR code. As part of the 8th Yokohama Triennale, Chan performed an intimate live set in Kakyo Fujo Kai, a community centre founded by a women's association in 1953.
