THE FIRE HORSE: ABC BULLION
The Fire Horse (2026) marks the first release of the new ABC Bullion Art Series Coin Program—a landmark initiative that brings contemporary art and precious metals together, reimagining them in new ways. Developed through the Pallion Arts Program, the inaugural collection showcases a dynamic collaboration with acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Chun Yin Rainbow Chan, and is crafted by ABC Mint in fine, ethically sourced Australian gold and silver.
Known for blending tradition with modern technology, Chan has reimagined ancient Eastern ink-painting techniques through precious metal for this collaboration. Her centrepiece design—a bold, kinetic horse—honours the 2026 Year of the Fire Horse, a zodiac sign revered for its energy, creativity and independent spirit.
To mark the release, Chan’s expressive Fire Horse is also featured in a bespoke window installation at the ABC Bullion Global Flagship in Sydney’s Martin Place. Inspired by ancient bronze inscriptions, traditional ink techniques and the lively spirit of the Fire Horse, the installation brings her work into a striking, street-level experience,
